2012 is going to see some changes for R-19. As many of you know already Tom Mitchell is
leaving R-19 to pursue other avenues of music. Tom has been writing and recording original music for many years and is venturing
out to promote and play his originals. I and R-19 wish him all the best and look forward to seeing Tom’s success in
his career. We would also like to thank Tom for all the years he spent with R-19. He brought a lot to all the R-19 shows and
will be missed. Another change for R-19 will be at the drums. Joe Eves has been rocking the drums for a shorter time but has
been as valuable an asset as anyone. Joe has done a fantastic job and will also be missed very much. I sincerely wish Joe
and Tom the best and again thank them for the great times; R-19 will not be the same without them. To all the fans of Tom
and Joe be sure to check them out in their new adventures. I hope to at least jam with them again in the future.
Now for the new additions for 2012. We will be welcoming back Doug Kennedy
on the drums. I’m sure everyone remembers Doug. He brings back some amazing vocals and awesome drums. We will also be
welcoming a new member to the R-19 family. Rob Booth will be rocking the bass guitar for us. Rob has been a well known musician
in the North Country for several years. He brings some jaw dropping bass and some spine tingling vocals to the R-19 table.
2012 promises to be the start of another special segment in the R-19 saga. I am really looking forward to rocking with Doug
again and starting a new legacy with Rob. We will be adding some new music to our already extensive song list. We look forward
to seeing everyone and partying with all.
To all the R-19 fans out there.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH. It’s all about the fans, without you we would be nothing. Let’s keep the R-19 party train
rolling. We are going to get a couple of rehearsals in then I will be updating our site with our upcoming gigs. Be sure to
check the events page at r19band.com for new info and gig dates.
